Bolstering Pima Wash
Lake Havasu City Parks Department employee Kyle Sorenson, kneeling, adjusts a baluster on a railing installed Tuesday on Pima Wash on the north side of McCulloch Boulevard. Parks staff including Tim Baker, standing right, Albert Davalos, shown behind the railing, and Tom Ward, not shown provided the labor for the installation of the railing, which is patterned after the one on the London Bridge. Volunteers Dean Barlow, center, and Rose Baldo, at left, fabricated the concrete balusters, footings and caps using materials donated by local businesses. The project was helped along by donations from the Sunrise Rotary Club and Relics & Rods, Barlow said.
