 Yes, we have moved to full time RVing. I took a few months to figure out that we wanted a 5th wheel for the best support of our type of lifestyle. We settled for a new 35 foot Montana with 3 slide outs. We also had to upgrade our pickup to a Ford 350 Diesel. It handles the rig with very little effort.
Getting ready for this extreme lifestyle change was hard at times, but refreshing at the same time. I think our kids thought we died early, since we gave them most of our stuff, and sold the rest in garage sales. We also gave a lot of items to goodwill. We managed to only need to store personal stuff in a 10 x 10 storage unit. Our adventure started as soon as we sold our home in the Seattle, Washington area. Our official dated date was July 1 of 2006. From this point, I will be trying to review the resorts and point out good and back items that happen to us as we go. Ocean Mist RV Park - Ocean Shores, Washington - KM Resorts Lost Lake RV Park - Olympia, Washington Pier 4 - Sunset RV Park and Resort - Moses Lake, Washington Yogi Bear’s Camp Resort - Cheney, Washington - KM Resorts A few days later, we finally went own to the office and asked if we could be moved to the lower section. They agreed, and we moved right away. We also told them that I was a Square dance Caller, and before you know it, we got asked to hold a dance for the park on that Friday night. It was a hit. We started at Fossil, Oregon to see the Blue Grass festival, then to Bend Oregon to take care of some logistics for long term travel. We then headed for Lincoln City, Oregon at “Chinook Bend Resort”.

This is a great place to take kids, but be careful where they tell you to park, even if you are a member of KM Resorts. Try to image, going to up a large dirt road hill, with trees and then curve downhill and find out you have to back in a new 35 foot Montana 5th wheel to the side, on side hill. It was a night mare, but after 2 hours, we actually got setup.
